I gotta acknowledge the person who was my main influence in computers and their awesome capabilities. Besides that fact, we have been friends for 20 years and he has shared a coupla 2,3 adventures in the Life and Times of...and he has kept in touch throughout the years and he has aided me many times in such journeys and always been concerned with my well-being and whereabouts and without a doubt, THE BIGGEST MR.T FAN that I know....Hmm even if that preceding sentence fractures every known structure of proper English, we will still introduce Cousin Rick!

Way back when Dan Happ worked at The Record Giant I remember his cousin Rick coming in to the store. It was during the time of Pete T.'s Chinese Eyes, so it is 20 years ago. All though I don't recall his musical purchases, it had to be Zappa and King Crimson kinda stuff. But the summer of '89 is when my memory is much clearer. It was cousin Rick's birthday on June 6 and I recall the first day I went to Pete W.'s house for a little celebration. Why were we moving rocks anyway? And later that summer on July 18 we went to Buffalo to see The Who on a beautiful full moon night. Never forgot the rare moment PT picked up the electric guitar and played a smoldering HEY JOE! And we Pony Babied up a storm! Enough to get Kenny in a tizzy! Out came the Mop! Oh no! And who was the author of furniture breaking in the Auburn and Devereaux? I used to have a lotta fun with the Pony Babies in those innocent times! HAHA Cousin Rick was going to school and his journeys through Alfred the Butler and on to Madison and Chicago kept him away from the Utica scene but he always kept me informed and we chatted endlessly about the music scene and stuff happening in our lives! In June 0f '93 he accompanied me on the imfamous Toronto trip and we both witnessed the opening night of the incredible Townshend solo tour second row center. Hey Angelo, how are ya! And all though he had problems at Wegman's and organ grinders and pigeons in Toronto, we laugh about it today! Do not take a picture of my monkey! Everybody's got something to hide! You work for Kodak?

Hey Dianne! How are ya! Now I really don't know when Dianne and Rick got married, but I have to thank her for her hospitality and letting me into the household with those evil donuts! She always took care of me on my Chicago visits. Concerned about my eating habits, my favorite foods were always there. Rick was with me on some amazing Chicago musical happenings. First and foremost the Pete House of Blues concerts and the blond Ed Ved Tibetan concert and a PJ United Center show. And I got to see the sights and sounds of Chicago, a beautiful city with an immense Polish population. And of course Stanley and Stella!!!! Hey wasn't Julia Lynn born on your birthday? That is pretty neat! Gee she is 4 already!! Has she had her first donut yet, Dianne?

So a big thank-you to cousin Rick and Dianne and I hope everything is well in Atlanta and hope to see ya again!
PEACE
your good friend and Utican always,
GOOCH
