As I sit here and type for the last month or two, one name appears everywhere. Well maybe you don't know it, but believe me, this person has been a friend for 35 years now and a part of all these documented shenanigans. Let me introduce to you the Duff, Eddie Duffy! From good old Miller St in 1966 to my bi-yearly birthday and Christmas visits, I have seen him grow up into a fantastic human being! (was that Tony or Kai?) And I am proud and honored to consider him one of my very best friends. Although we don't see each other as frequently as the golden years, when we get together, we can talk till we run out of topics and then spout some utter nonsense and chat some more.

Heck, I was even best man when he got married. (Sorry, no pictures.) He was there for the first wool hat and the last faded bandana. His likeness to Tom Scholl?!? in the 60's is my first memory of him, getting mad and taking his bat home in the park. UH, yeah that was Tom, right Duff? I get so confused. And he was present at so many events in this cyberjournal; concerts sporting forays, softball, hosbe and yecko?, and then a part of everyday living on James St. and where ever. OK that is enough. So thanks for everything, Duff.

And I have to mention his extended family also. They have been so nice to me thru the decades and always make me feel a part of this warm and generous family. Deb, Kathleen and Eileen and Maureen, in our memories always, and Vic and Vince, Trish and the Dream and Jennifer, and Michelle, Vic and Erin and Nick and Beth, and Caitlan and Daniel. I have had so much fun and always look forward to seeing ya! Peace Your friend GOOCH!
