It was the year of Pete Townshend's triumphant return!
A new record came out and the big surprise was his first
solo tour. Who fans were agog and it was worth investigating.
Psychoderelict- touching on Lifehouse images long buried
in Pete's past. But hey-new music!
Up in Toronto it all began! There we were second row center
me cousin Rick and Angelo as the wonders unfolded.
Unfortunately the older crowd was prone to long stretches
of sitting down! You DON"T sit at a rock'n'roll show!!!!
I figured it would be a lot different the next two
nights in NYC! (i was wrong!) Tommy L was with me for
a coupla NYC nights and all in all, I was quite pleased and...
ROAD TRIP!!!!! Off I went on a cross country odyssey.
Philly LA San Fran NY Massachusetts Philly again and
Jones Beach.

A fascinating trip that led to meeting JACKIE MARGARET ALAN ALAN SUSAN LISA S LOU PETE LISA G SETH LT FOTI STARK ED VED AND GREETING THE LEWK SCOTT ALISON JARED MARC JIM FROMALBINI KAREN GARY MELISSA MARTY SOL. And at various places I had the opportunity to accompany Lenny, Kevin and Jim K and I geuss that is it. Ok this is getting boring. Let's move along.

Had to renew my license in June! No Hat!

That summer I started hanging out with JB Associates a lot. We had stuff in common, from witches to warlocks; such an intelligent, driven girl! She was seeing an English Boy and I was still mooning over Carla but occassionally our paths diverged. And our friendship grew as the years progressed. I thought it almost smoldered in '93 but there were forces conspiring against us. Hey Jb I always remember the night you picked me up at the airport after a California Townshendian spectacle. You were witching up a storm!

The California leg of the tour was one of those moments forever tucked away in that mass of cranial material under that old bandana. I stayed with Lenny at his invitation and got to know him and his family. He showed me some of the sights of LA and I remember waking up one morning and Erin and Jason led me on a breakfast pilgrimmage. Sorry Deb but I don't even remember ya !!!hahaah Oh yeah I remember you were with us as we went to visit LT and Stark at Chrome Hearts. I love it when a buncha Uticans get together in far off distant places. That bond makes us all brothers! HAHA

A few days later I flew up to San Francisco for what was THE brace of shows on this tour. Invoking the spirit of Bill Graham and an incredible 60's vibe, Pete played and mesmerized me. Why bother to describe the euphoria I was feeling. Note: This was in Berkeley mind you. Home of The Peoples Republic and the focal point of the 60's revolution in America. Walking home after it was over I stopped at a store to get a drink and some guy and his girl asked me about the concert and it all came out. This rambling diatribe describing these monumental Townshend shows and the Who affect on my life and plain old WOW!!!! This kid took it all in and Hey see ya later and drove off. I came back to Utica and got ready for the last 4 shows and well it was the summer of '93 and one that ranks up there as he best there ever was. Ya had to be there! DUH!!

U2 release "ZOOROPA" It is met with little Gooch fanfare, musta been those falsetto's in LEMON! UGH!! Looks like Aug 29 1992 at Yankee Stadium with Dennis is my last U2 show!!

Are ya still with me? Oh well this is the life and times of and I geuss it has to be chronicled the way it was. The next few years are packed with all kinda stuff so if ya wanna bail out, might as well. Cause the frequent flyer miles are racked up and we are moving on the end of a millenia! Not many of us can have witnessed that.

Keep on moving! Don't worry about Home anymore.
